Ka
The ka is usually translated as "soul" or "spirit" The kacame into existence when an individual was born. It was believed that theram-headed god Khnum craftedthe ka on his potter's wheel at a persons birth. It was thought that whensomeone died they "met their ka". A persons ka would live on aftertheir body had died. Some tombs included model houses as the ka needed a placeto live. Offerings of food and drink would be left at the tomb entrance so theka could eat and drink.

ka通常翻译成“灵魂”或“精神”，当一个人出生ka进入存在。据认为公羊头神 Khnum 在人出生时候，与ka驾御他的陶器轮子。据认为当某人死了他们“与ka会面”。在人们的身体已经死后他们的ka会继续生存下去。一些坟墓内设有模型房子因为ka需要一个地方生活。食物和饮料祭品会留在坟墓入口处，这样ka可以吃和喝。
